This tour will give you a first hand experience of the history, culture, wildlife and the people of India. From the high rise buildings of New Delhi to the narrow allies of Old Delhi on rickshaws. Travel by train to the temples of Khajuraho that celebrated the union of mankind and nature, as the source of all life and creation. Experience the magic of love in the city of the Taj Mahal, followed by the once flourishing capital city; Fatehpur Sikri, now known as the Deserted City, to tracking tigers in jeeps at Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, to an elephant ride at Amber Fort in Jaipur.
Itinerary

Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Welcome upon arrival at New Delhi, followed by transfer and check-in to the hotel.

Day 02 Delhi
A tour of Old & New Delhi will take you to the Jama Masjid – Friday Mosque, Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi an exciting ride in the narrow by lanes of Chandni Chowk, Qutab Minar a marvelous piece of ancient architecture standing tall since 1199, drive past India Gate - War Memorial and drive past the President's and Parliament House and other interesting buildings.

Day 03 Delhi - Jhansi – Orcha – Khajuraho
An early morning train journey will bring you to Jhansi from where a short drive to Orcha; a quaint small town rich in history. Later in the day your will be at Khajuraho with an evening to relax.

Day 04 Khajuraho Visit the twenty two world-famous stone temples built between 950 AD and 1050 AD, which are divided into three categories, known as the Eastern, Western & Southern group of temples. One has the option to see the “Dances of India” or the “Sound & Light Show”.

Day 05 Khajuraho – Jhansi - Agra
Morning is free to explore the city on your own, till your start your return journey towards Jhansi railway station to board your train for Agra.

Day 06 Agra
The morning will bring you to one of the most beautiful sights of the world; The Taj Mahal, followed by a visit to the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 07 Agra – Ranthambore
Leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life to explore the wilderness with an optional afternoon jungle safari or visit one of the ancient forts of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.

Day 08 Ranthambore
Start the day with a jungle safari. Afternoon continue the excitement by another jungle safari.

Day 09 Ranthambore - Jaipur
Leave behind the wild kingdom and drive to Jaipur also known as the “Pink City”. Afternoon will be filled with exciting views to the sights within Jaipur City palace and the Royal Observatory.

Day 10 Jaipur
The first half of the day will be occupied by visiting the Amber Fort; make your entry to this magnificent fort on elephant back. You will also be making photo stops at The Hawa Mahal- Palace of Winds & Lake Palace. Evening an optional visit to Chowki Dhani: ethnic tourist village, depicting the culture, art, heritage and cuisine of Rajasthan.

Day 11 Jaipur - Delhi
Drive to the national capital of Delhi; spend the day at leisure until your departure transfer to the international airport.
